あらすじ

　現実世界に不満がある人々の中には、空想の世界に理想を求める人々がいる。レナードもその一人で、彼は聴衆に迎合して自分の空想を貶める人間だった。もし彼の非凡な経験が無ければ、彼の空想は誰も楽しませることは無かっただろう。

Leonard Bilsiter was one of those people who have failed to find this world attractive or interesting, and who have sought compensation in an “unseen world” of their own experience or imagination—or invention.

THE SHE-WOLF

　レナード・ビルサイターはこの世界の素晴らしさを感じることに失敗した人々のうちの一人でした。そして彼ら自身の経験や空想、想像の『アンシーン・ワールド』に代物を求める人々のうちの一人でした。

Children do that sort of thing successfully, but children are content to convince themselves, and do not vulgarise their beliefs by trying to convince other people.
