あらすじ

　私は服屋で起こった出来事と同様の事を繰り返し、必需品と贅沢品をそろえて高価なホテルに泊まることとなった。一週間もたたないうちに。
　朝食は決まってハリスの安料理屋だった。その店は私が百万ポンド紙幣を持って最初に入った料理屋だ。裕福な変人が通い詰める店という噂が広まって、ハリスの店は繁盛した。
